Semana Design ESDI 2016 is an event organized by students of the Escola Superior de Desenho Industrial (ESDI) in partnership with the Incubator of Design Companies ESDI/UERJ, which occurred from May 16th to 20th, in 2016. It aims to promote the contact of the graduation with professionals and companies already consolidated in the design market, through lectures and round tables given by design professionals focusing on the four main axes of the school's curriculum reform: Visual Communication, Industrial Design, Interaction Design and Service Design.
To involve other college students in the event, a contest was held to choose the event logo. This should portray the new face of the college and the spirit of the event.
